Who we are looking for

Bitcoin Magazine, the world leader in Bitcoin news and information, is searching for an experienced social media professional to launch our new regional hub in Eastern Europe. 

This position will be located in Kyiv, Ukraine, and will be focused on delivering news and information to and fostering community within the greater Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region.

As a social media associate for Ukraine, you will be the voice on social media for the brand, responsible for executing communication, marketing, and content sharing strategy. You will work independently on local social platforms and coordinate with Bitcoin Magazine HQ and other bureaus on global strategy.

Our ideal candidate is a proven social media voice who is passionate about Bitcoin and delivering an exceptional experience for the community.

What You Will Be Doing

• Using Social Media marketing tools to create and maintain the company’s brand, voice, and community.
• Organizing and scheduling posts on multiple social channels
• Working with our teams to develop social media marketing campaigns
• Interacting with customers, community, and other stakeholders via the company’s social media accounts
• Setting key performance indicators for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or like, and measuring the performance of a campaign.
• Updating the team and company with social media presentations to help communicate progress and trendsAnalyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying the best way to localize the Bitcoin Magazine voice on channels in Ukraine. weaknesses, and making recommendations for improvements in localizing

What You Will Bring To The Team

• A passion and understanding of both Bitcoin and the Bitcoin Community
• An understanding of the Social Media tools and strategies
• A pulse on social media trends, Bitcoin, and pop culture, with the ability to quickly identify viral trends and moments
• Experience running social media accounts and translating strategy into communication
• The drive of a self-starter with the ability to proactively identify issues and provide solutions
• The ability to analyze data and draw conclusions and recommendations
• A combination of creative and data-oriented approaches with the ability to take learning and translate them into new ideas and initiatives 
• The ability to multitask and act proactively without close supervision
• Highly organized with great attention to detail and the ability to hit all deadlines
