Chief Accountant for the Professionals for Reform Support Mechanism (PRSM)

Indicative duties and responsibilities (scope of work):

 Full record-keeping and accounting using standard state procedures;

1. Conducting personnel records and payroll experience;
2. Preparation of and making payments (including currency transactions);
3. Ensuring that all applicable taxes are paid;
4. Inventory of goods, property, and materials;
5. Creating and submitting reports to state authorities;
6. Work closely with suppliers regarding payments, missing documents etc.;
7. Prepare various basic accounting documentation (orders etc.);
8. Accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual financial and other reports required by the Ukrainian tax legislation;
9. Cooperating with external auditors to carry out annual external auditing;
10. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures;
11. Consulting in financial matters.

Preferred qualifications and skills:

 Bachelor or Master degree in Finance/Accounting;

1. 3+ years of work experience in a similar field of activity, preferably in an NGO sector;
2. Experience in creating and submitting reports to state authorities;
3. Knowledge of specific legislation and the ability to react to changes of norms;
4. Confident PC user (1C, Microsoft Office);
5. Fluent Ukrainian and English.
