Для цього ми шукаємо того/ту, хто зможе очолити, координувати та підтримати зусилля WWF у поствоєнній і сталій відбудові України, зокрема, відповідатиме за ефективне управління та впровадження ініціативи WWF Build Back Better.

Попереду багато складних, проте амбітних задач! Серед них:

• Сприяння та підтримка реалізації бачення або стратегії WWF щодо “відновлення кращого” в Україні;
• Адвокація: взаємодія з відповідними топ-особами, які приймають політичні рішення в уряді, парламенті та органах влади в Україні, а також підтримка взаємодії/ взаємодія з відповідними топ-особами, які приймають рішення за межами України, включно з донорами та урядами.
• Партнерство: розвиток і координація розвитку партнерства на підтримку Building Back Better.
• Управління ініціативою, включно з адмініструванням, моніторингом та оцінкою, а також звітністю.

Наш ідеальний кандидат, зокрема, має:

• Вищий ступінь у відповідній галузі (сталий розвиток, економіка, екологія, політологія чи інші суспільні науки, зв’язки з громадськістю, менеджмент)
• Принаймні 5 років керівництва складним проєктом, програмою чи ініціативою; досвід керівництва командою
• Досвід роботи з державними установами
• Відмінні навички спілкування англійською та українською мовами (усні та письмові)

The position manages WWF’s efforts to ensure that reconstruction after the war is climate- and nature-positive, and maximizes:

• Achievement of WWF’s goals and targets
• Positioning of WWF in Ukraine
• Organisational development of WWF-Ukraine.

Major Responsibilities
Responsible for the good management and implementation of WWF’s Build Back Better initiative (project), including relevant workstreams:

1. Promote and manage implementation of WWF’s strategy for Ukraine’s recovery from the impact of the war:
2. Advocacy for Building Back Better — engaging with relevant top-political decision-makers from governmental authorities (e.g. ministries at all levels up to the Minister) and the parliament inside of Ukraine.
3. Advocacy for Building Back Better — supporting engagement — and in some cases engaging directly — with relevant top-decision-makers outside of Ukraine, including donors and governments.
4. Support development and implementation of communication and an international fundraising campaign for Building Back Better in Ukraine.

Key tasks

1. Coordination: Coordinate relevant workstreams: organize regular coordination meetings, ensure a good flow of information, and maintain regular contact with members of the coordination group.
2. Planning, M&E: Ensure regular planning, monitoring & evaluation of the BBB initiative and activities.
3. Reporting: Prepare and present reports on BBB to relevant stakeholders, including WWF-CEE Board, management, staff, and supporters.
4. Ensure proper financial management for the BBB initiative — plan and monitor spending, and preparation of financial reports.
5. Representation: support promotion and representation of the BBB initiative, including preparing and giving presentations.
6. Fundraising: support fundraising initiatives related to the BBB initiative, including preparation of project proposals, and communication with donors.
7. Partnerships: support the development of partnerships supporting the BBB initiative, including the identification of potential partners and liaisons.
8. Support: where needed and possible, support implementation of work plan activities.
9. Manage the BBB Team and the experts
10. Quality management for the outputs, e. g. publications

Working Relationships
Internal: 

• Works with BBB Initiative workstream leads and members of the coordination group.
• Regular (weekly) meetings with workstream leads (international finance/aid; advocacy in Ukraine; fundraising campaign) + CEO of WWF-Ukraine, Regional CEO, and Regional Conservation Director for WWF-CEE.

External:

• WWF Network: Experts and stakeholders relevant to the BBB Initiative.
• Relevant partners and stakeholders in Ukraine and abroad.

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge and Education

• Higher degree in a relevant area, e.g. sustainable development, economics, ecology, political science or other social science, public relations, management.
• An appreciation and understanding of sustainability issues.

Experience

• At least 5 years leading a complex project, program or initiative
• Experience of working with — or better — in governmental institutions

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills in English and Ukrainian (speaking, reading, writing)
• Interpersonal skills — the ability to work constructively in a cross-cultural team.
• Excellent diplomatic skills, able to speak with senior representatives of government, business and international organisations.
• The ability to organise a complex project, program or initiative
