Project Manager at the "Aspen Institute Kyiv"

The Aspen Institute Kyiv is looking for a qualified professional to fill the position of a Project Manager.

The Project manager will be responsible for planning and implementation of the Institute’s projects. Will establish relationships and closely cooperate with key stakeholders, international partners and other NGOs involved in the projects’ implementation, including state bodies representatives. The Manager will work under the direction of the Director of Program Development and will closely coordinate with the administrative and communication team members.

Areas of responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Establish and manage relationships with all stakeholders, international partners, and third parties
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (including reporting)

Qualification & Skills 

• At least 3 years of experience managing projects or programs
• Knowledge and/or experience of preparing grant application and cooperating with partners and donors 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken Ukrainian and English (Advanced level)
• Leadership and strategic thinking skills
• Sharing the organizational values

Working conditions

• Full-time position in Kyiv, with possible business trips within the country. Possible remote work.
• Probation period – 3 months.
