Who are we looking for?

You oversee the delicate agency-client relationship, determining client’s needs–what they’re looking to achieve in the short term and long-term–and ensuring that we deliver. 

You are a problem solver at heart, and understand how to communicate good AND bad news with tact and diplomacy. You’re a relationship-building wizard and can make people feel comfortable with you very quickly. You aren’t scared of dealing with challenging situations and know how to keep track of details so they don’t fall through the cracks. You’re a leader and can speak up even when it’s not your area of expertise as well as listen intently to capture key information and subtext in any interaction. You know when to push and when to let things simmer. You help drive us to produce our best results through understanding the client’s business model, marketplace and factors affecting sales, understanding our products, capabilities and techniques while balancing our resources and bottom line. 

You are an extremely organized, detail-oriented, people-person who thrives in high stress and fast paced environments. You are the one to put together the brief that translates client objectives into what we do so we can do it with high expertise and deliver high quality campaigns. Daily contact with clients is part of the job, so you offer new and forward thinking ideas to maintain the communication process productive. You are confident pitching to clients and are assertive in promoting our ideas and benefits. The team will depend on you to give projects direction and maintain a clear strategy to achieve the best outcome for the client. You handle complaints, find solutions, collect and analyze data and report to the client and team in an effort to improve the overall customer experience. 

To succeed in this position, you are an exceptional communicator and team player, have excellent problem solving skills, are resourceful and analytical, adaptable and organized with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Right now we are growing so fast that we need more help. That’s when YOU come into the picture. 

Must have:

  • Fluent English (at least C1, no exceptions here). You will be presenting us and communicating directly with our clients (orally and in writing) and copywriting in English that sounds native, thus, we need to make sure that your English is great. 
  • Excellent communication skills – we work as a team, so being a lone wolf will work against you
  • Excellent strategic thinking or problem-solving skills 
  • Attentive Listening, ability to empathize and emotional intelligence
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to multitask, self-manage and prioritize (you will be working on multiple accounts at once) 
  • Ability to negotiate and work towards a win-win outcome
  • Previous experience in account management, sales or customer service
  • Previous experience in working with with foreign clients or in foreign markets
  • Ability to learn fast. It’s okay if you don’t have lots of marketing experience, we are ready to help get you up to speed but you need to absorb it quickly and properly. 
  • Understanding of Marketing and Digital Marketing basics. You will be part of digital marketing campaigns so you need to understand online behaviour 👩‍💻👨‍💻
  • Important — 99% of our work is done online, so yeah, we expect you to be a proficient PC user. Most likely, you have no problems with using a laptop, Google Sheets and Google Docs, and different tools but still, need to mention this anyway, just in case 🙂 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 🏎️

Would be a bonus:

  • Experience working in an agency environment (B2B is a bonus)
  • Soft skills: flexibility, out-of-the-box thinking, ability to accept and apply feedback and perseverance
  • Experience working in the marketing industry (agency experience preferred)
  • LinkedIn user experience
  • Experience working in remote or international teams.

Responsibilities:

You will be working in close cooperation with our Chief Strategy Officer and Operations Manager, to manage client accounts and ensure campaign performance and client satisfaction. You will keep a pulse on all client campaign performance in your portfolio and collaborate with teams across the agency to deliver on contract scope of work. You are responsible for managing client and team expectations as well as increasing overall client lifetime value for Respect Studio. You will analyze campaign performance metrics, lead team discussions on campaign performance, put together campaign reports for clients and report on portfolio health on a regular basis. You will develop pitches and identify opportunities for upselling clients, negotiating changes to contracts and retainers when adapting campaigns for better performance. You also track client billing to make sure the client pays on time and is billed accurately. You will communicate proactively with clients on a daily basis and maintain close relationships with them to improve our collaboration. You are their main point of contact for any questions or concerns they may have. 

  • Manage portfolio of client accounts and monitor the on-going activities related to them. 
  • Managing and reviewing progress on client’s campaigns. 
  • Conducting meetings with the clients as well as informing them about the current work status of their projects.
  • Establishing relationships with new clients and maintaining and nurturing business relationships with existing clients.
  • Identifying accounts whose revenue may be shrinking so as to address any ‘at risk’ customers and reach out to these accounts to ensure they are retained.
  • Lead and participate in briefings and brainstorms the team gathering audience and informational inputs required from Sales and the Client. 
  • Effectively balance multiple projects, deadlines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
  • Actively communicate project status and roadblocks to the Team and the Client.
  • Play leading role in troubleshooting campaign performance issues through data analysis and recommendations for improvement. 
  • Analyze campaign metrics and put together weekly and monthly reports. 
  • Escalate any client-related issues to the appropriate individuals to retain client accounts.
  • Report on client portfolio performance on a weekly basis
  • Self-educate on important industry and business themes and topics for various clients
  • Maintain ongoing awareness of current trends and best practices, as well as commitment to personal growth and development.
