The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine is looking for highly qualified, motivated and experienced Ukrainian professionals for the position of ICT Assistant with its Office in Kyiv. The OSCE is committed to achieving a better balance of women and men within the Organization.
Initial duration of appointment is for 12 months, subject to a subsequent OSCE Permanent Council Decision to extend the mandate of the Mission.

Tasks and Responsibilities | ||
Under the supervision of the National ICT Officer, and overall guidance of Chief of ICT. The ICT Assistant administers and maintains the VMware, SCCM and Anti-Virus servers to provide first and second level IT support. Monitor server logs, Sentinel logs, and network monitoring tools. More specifically, responsible for the following tasks and responsibilities:
1. Technical Support Querying and expanding existing knowledge base; investigates and diagnoses incidents (Including resolution where possible); Providing guidance to ICT Helpdesk Assistants; Assigning Tokens; Confirming and closing resolution of incidents; Handling service requests; Keeping affected users informed about progress; Preparing video conferencing system and equipment when requested; Escalating the troubleshooting process if necessary and notifies supervisor; Performing on-demand antivirus scans and cleans infected systems; Performing minor cabling works, patching; 2. Hardware and Software installation, Configuration and Upgrades Installing, configuring and tests hardware and peripherals; installing, configuring, and testing standard and non-standard application software and software upgrading and updating both on site and through SCCM tools; Preparing resources for test environment; Executing routine tasks related to IT infrastructure; Performing quality checks on outcomes of work performed; Documents system installation, configuration procedures, and current configuration; Providing application support to facilitate effective utilization of the system; Configuring printers, plotters and multifunctional devices; Installing and removing software licenses; 3. Active Directory Administration Creating, modifying and deleting directory objects in local Organization Unit; Providing and revoking access to the objects by request; Reporting on different aspects of Active directory; 4. SCCM Clients Administration Configuring and deploying Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager clients, diagnosing client hardware and software problems, checking product compliance, monitoring not allowed software usage; Reporting possible system problems, identifying problems, researching potential problem solution and recommending and implementing solutions; 5. Performing other job-related duties as assigned. |

Remuneration Package | ||
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions is 1029.00 Euro/month. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna health insurance scheme and social security / Provident Fund. Appointments are normally made at step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. | ||
