Business Writer at WaveUp

We are looking for a talented person, who will contribute to our writing process from ideation to creation. We are now expanding our worldwide reach, and as one of the core steps towards our goal, we are assembling a S.W.A.T. team that will ensure WaveUp’s visibility and recognition on the public stage.

What you will do:

• Develop articles on various venture / finance / economic related topics; covering market coverages, business stories, etc.;
• Search for the most engaging and thought-provoking topic ideas for the target audience;
• Deliver the consistency in quality and quantity of write-ups published on multiple platforms including our WaveUp website, Reddit, Medium, and Quora;

Our ideal candidate:

• Knows how to convey their thoughts in a logic, yet still exciting manner;
• Is motivated and eager to test things;
• Can strike a conversational or more formal tone, depending on the deliverable;
• Makes every effort to hit the mark even with the first draft;

Necessary skills (requirements):

• You possess excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading skills;
• You have portfolio pieces that show you have experience discussing and dissecting topics in-depth; web publication experience is a must;
• You possess a deep understanding of financial industry;
• You have excelent attention to detail (did you spot a mistake in this sentence?);
• Advantage: you have written any articles that rank on #1st page for their targeted keyword;
• Advantage: You have a bachelor’s degree in English, finance, journalism, communications or a business field;
