Competera uses Big Data and Deep Learning to change the way retailers do pricing. We are known for both: cutting-edge math ’under the hood’ and for deep expertise in the pricing domain. We are looking for an MLOps Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of the platform that supports the entire ML models lifecycle in production.
Responsibilities:
– Developing and maintaining the overall MLOps strategy for the company;
– Building upon our existing MLOps components to improve and optimize our machine learning pipeline;
– Automating model training, validation, and testing processes;
– Develop tools for models monitoring in production;
– Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize model performance and address any issues that arise;
– Mentoring and guiding the ML team and other departments in the company on best practices for MLOps.
Requirements:
– Strong experience in MLOps, including knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and tools such as Vertex AI/AWS Sagemaker/Azure ML, Kubernetes, and Docker;
– Experience with Python and related ML libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch);
– Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies;
– Strong knowledge of model deployment, monitoring, and management practices;
– Experience working with existing MLOps components and the ability to optimize and improve them;
– Experience with software development practices such as version control, testing, and debugging;
– Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
