Hello! We are Anna and Kyrylo Mazur. We created and developed the Happy Monday platform. You probably know us as a niche job website, a niche media career, or a niche telegram channel about job search — it’s all about us! Indeed, we were a niche resource for a limited audience in the past. But not anymore! Our story is about who we are now and why we need to become friends.

Five years ago, the company had the labor market on its side. Only few people thought about the needs and requests of candidates. Although, conscious searchers needed a deeper interaction with a potential employer. Based on our HR expertise and global trends, we understood that people looking for a job did not want to read about duties and working conditions. They wished to get to know the company better: its product, processes, culture, team, career prospects, etc. We also believed that work should be of great interest and value. We are also convinced that if people love their job, their life will be full of joy.

‘In a dream job, Mondays are also happy,’ we thought, and thus the Happy Monday platform was born.

Happy Monday became a meeting place for professionals who proactively and deliberately wished to build careers with companies that matched their values. We introduced people to verified employers, published vacancies, and wrote articles about job search and career… In the past, our company was a niche portal for a limited audience. But not anymore!

The labor market has undergone a lot of changes over the past five years. The COVID-19 pandemic has started a trend toward working remotely and having flexible schedules. A lot of companies have realized that it is not necessary to gather people in one place and control their work. It turned out that all employees can work from different countries and not only from 9 am to 6 pm.

All wishes and goals, we have been talking about since 2018, have been fulfilled. A great number of companies have begun to compete for talented people and build their HR brands to attract the best employees. Unfortunately, in Ukraine, this trend faced some difficulties because of a full-scale war. As a result, the number of vacancies decreased. The candidate market turned into a company market again. However, some businesses have realized the importance of employer branding and will continue to develop it at the first opportunity. The market will recover after our Victory. We believe that it will happen soon!

The most important changes have happened not with the market but with people. The recent events in the world, especially the war started by russia against Ukraine, have shown how important it is not to postpone our lives until tomorrow.

A wish to be in a meaningful job has become not just trendy but also imperative.

We do not know what awaits us in the future. People no longer want to devote a large part of their time to work that does not bring satisfaction and fulfillment. The new generations do not only aspire to earn money. They have a great desire to be useful and have a positive impact on the world. As a result, the management of a career, the conscious search for a job, and the need to know more about the company became crucial for everyone who looks for a job.

In the Happy Monday company, we did not set ourselves the goal of following these trends. We simply tried to be as useful as possible. Being able to empathize with the needs of companies and job seekers had given us the ability to develop employer branding before it became mainstream. However, there was a time when we realized that the services we provided were not interesting to everyone: not all companies were ready to open up, and not all candidates were ready to take responsibility for their careers. We have recently realized that our society has changed. Furthermore, the scale of our influence has changed as well.


Happy Monday. Evolution


In five years, a niche project based on HR expertise turned into a technological online product with strong international potential. We have gathered hundreds of thousands of proactive and conscious candidates and partnered with top Ukrainian and international companies. Today, we have something to offer to a wide audience of talented people, and not only in Ukraine. So, we consider ourselves as strong competitors who keep up with global services.

Our inner evolution, capabilities, and ambitions required external expression. That’s why we’re rebranding the Happy Monday platform.

With the help of a new logo and a new visual presentation on the website and social networks, we want to update the perception of our brand in the market and emphasize the changes. However, the visual component is not enough. During 2022, we updated the website of Happy Monday. We created personal accounts for users, launched a career recommendation system and even an AI job generator. Nowadays, we build a platform with the ambition to be the world’s best career development tool. Therefore, we plan to innovate and experiment in order to improve the experience of interacting with our platform. The world does not stand still – and neither should we.

Our mission is to be assistants and guides for people at different stages of their careers.

We are not just the media or a job portal. We are a career development platform where modern and innovative companies and motivated candidates meet. We help talented people build their conscious path of professional growth, and companies develop their employer branding and find candidates. What tools do we have for it?

  • Vacancies. We publish creative and digital vacancies in proven Ukrainian or international companies which provide online/offline work with a flexible schedule. We also have a system of personalized recommendations that selects the most relevant offers.
  • Company profiles. We offer companies that meet the values and requirements of our modern world to candidates who care about where and who to work with. We talk about these companies’ processes, products, cultures, teams, and hiring principles.
  • Media. We create content on the topic of job search, career building, professional and self-development for specialists of all levels: from students and juniors to company leaders or business owners. We follow the news, tell stories, and share the opinions of experts.
  • Projects for candidates and companies. The combination of our resources and the best experts and companies is our recipe for influence and part of the Happy Monday culture. During the full-scale invasion, we organized webinars on foreign employment and freelancing and launched career projects for youth, IDPs, and women. Nowadays, we are going to work on veteran employment.
