Programme Support Associate at UNV Ukraine

The UNV Field Units (FU) in Ukraine is mainly accountable for the mobilization and placement of UN Volunteers in UN Agencies, Funds, and Programs focused on emergency response to the war in Ukraine, development, and humanitarian needs. The Field Unit represents and positions UNV in Ukraine and brings UNV’s services and solutions closer to its partners from UN entities, governments, civil society, and private sector.

Requirements for candidates:

• 4 years of experience in administration, business management, human resources or in positions with a similar role.
• Experience using office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience in handling web-based management systems is highly desirable.
• Previous experience / knowledge of the UN data management systems is considered as a high advantage.
• Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; culturally and socially sensitive; ability to work inclusively and collaboratively in teams.
• Ability to work and adapt professionally and effectively in a challenging environment; ability to work effectively in a multicultural team of international and national personnel.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in administration, business management, human resources or any relevant to the position areas.
• Ukrainian, Level: Fluent, Required
• English, Level: Fluent, Required

• Monthly Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA) (equivalent in UAH): USD 1587

• Annual leave: 30 days
• Certified sick leave: 30 days annually
• Uncertified sick leave: 7 days annually
• Learning leave: 10 days annually
