UX Writer/Copywriter at Mate academy

We are Mate academy – an EdTech startup with a technological, gamified, AI-friendly LMS platform where people learn IT specialties.

Successfully launched our business in Poland and Brazil and have plans to expand to other countries.

We are looking for our best UX Writer/copywriter. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining our product’s tone of voice and creating user-friendly content for digital interfaces, onboarding emails, landing pages, etc..

What will you need to succeed:

• 3+ years’ experience in UX writing/copywriting
• A portfolio outlining your UX writing/copywriting output and process
• Knowledge of usability testing
• Broad spectrum skillset across interaction design, UX research, UX writing
• Experience in the localization of global products and features
• Attentiveness to trends and developments in UX writing, copywriting, and design
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external customers, and build productive collaboration with Product, Design, and Developer teams
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English and Ukrainian

Your advantage will be:

• Experience with design tools (e.g. Figma)
• Working experience in the EdTech domain

Your tasks will be:

• Maintain champion our product’s tone of voice
• Create and manage content and microcopy for our products, both apps and web-based
• Be an integral part of the product team throughout the design cycle
• Lead development of the UI text style guide
• Creating and proofreading onboarding emails, newsletters
• Manage the localization process for our global audience
• Compose A/B test, and boost target product metrics through iterative testing of UX content

Cases you will encounter during the probationary period:

• Review the current interface and content
• Create the Tone of Voice Strategy and develop internal working standards with UX content
• Design review and content creation for digital interfaces
