Position Purpose
The overarching goal of the USAID Public Health System Recovery & Resilience Activity (PHS R&R) is to strengthen the Government of Ukraine’s capacity to prevent, detect and respond to public health threats; sustain critical public health services during a crisis, protect the health of all Ukrainians. The project provides technical assistance to national, regional and local Ukrainian public health institutions and CSOs to increase preparedness and response to PH threats, mitigate their impact on essential health services, increase access and sustainability of mental health services for war-impacted population of Ukraine. This is to be a five-year activity (May 2027 is a closing date of the project).
PHS R&R is launching a “Healthy Community initiative” which will engage at the first stage five territorial communities applying Quality Improvement methodology to promote, protect and improve the health of their residents.
Key Responsibilities
The QI Advisor is to be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Quality Improvement Collaborative across pilot territorial communities through technical assistance to local QI teams.
The QI Advisor will work closely with PHS R&R Community Health team to plan, implement, and evaluate QI training, capacity-building and technical assistance to the pilot territorial communities.
