Senior lawyer at Nova Ukraine

Nova Ukraine, a non-profit organization, is looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Lawyer, who will provide general supervision of all legal activities carried out by internal paralegal and external partners of the organization.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the work with legal templates, contracts, and other legal documents, adapting them to our needs and organizational standards
• Conducting legal analysis and optimisation of legal processes in the organization
• Monitor and adjust the current activities of the legal team
• Control of due diligence of counterparties for signing contracts
• Keeping abreast of changes in legislation, especially those related to the work of non-profit organizations, and making recommendations to the organization on appropriate actions

Requirements:

• University degree in law
• English language proficiency at least B2
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position 
• Ability to work effectively with legal documents and templates
• Ability to navigate changes in legislation and analyze their impact on the organization
• Strong management skills
• Ability to work in a team, proactive attitude
• Experience in similar positions in a humanitarian context will be an advantage
