Nova Ukraine, a non-profit organization, is looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Lawyer, who will provide general supervision of all legal activities carried out by internal paralegal and external partners of the organization.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the work with legal templates, contracts, and other legal documents, adapting them to our needs and organizational standards
- Conducting legal analysis and optimisation of legal processes in the organization
- Monitor and adjust the current activities of the legal team
- Control of due diligence of counterparties for signing contracts
- Keeping abreast of changes in legislation, especially those related to the work of non-profit organizations, and making recommendations to the organization on appropriate actions
Requirements:
- University degree in law
- English language proficiency at least B2
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Ability to work effectively with legal documents and templates
- Ability to navigate changes in legislation and analyze their impact on the organization
- Strong management skills
- Ability to work in a team, proactive attitude
- Experience in similar positions in a humanitarian context will be an advantage
