Position Purpose

Pact is seeking applications for the position of Digital Communications Officer. Reporting to Communications Advisor, the Digital Communications Officer is responsible for managing digital communications for the Community Action for HIV Control, including social media, developing, and implementing well-reached communication campaigns. Digital Communications Officer will develop and maintain working relationships with civic organizations in HIV sector throughout Ukraine, community groups and other stakeholders, including marginalized population.

Key Responsibilities:

· Contributing to the implementation of Community Action for HIV Control communications strategies in line with the relevant donor and Pact branding guidelines.

· Managing digital communications for the Community Action for HIV Control, including Project’s social media, recourse library, landing pages and chatbots, news situational reports and digest maintaining, and new channels and formats developing.

· Leading on digital communication campaigns, including developing specific targeted communication strategies, coordination of contractors, marketing and promotion, evaluation of activities’ outcomes.

· Creating external and internal materials, and design communication materials, including press releases, website and social media content, leaflets and brochures, reports, speeches, and other marketing material that communicates the project’s activities.

· Contributing to organization of outreach events.

· Developing and maintaining professional relationships with the media, identifying opportunities for media coverage around campaigns, events and specific publications.

· Developing and maintaining working relationships with civic organizations in HIV sector throughout Ukraine, community groups and other stakeholders, including marginalized groups.

· Provide support for project partners in communications, ensuring that partners follow proper brand guidelines.

Basic Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, social studies or related field.

· Relevant experience – at least 5 years or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments and work with and between different stakeholders.

· Demonstrated skills in problem solving and consensus building.

· The candidate must be demonstrably proficient in (oral, writing and reading) Ukrainian and English.

· Ability to travel within Ukraine and occasionally internationally when health and safety situation allows.

· Ukrainian nationality

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience developing and implementing communications strategies, plans, and activities.

· Experience in digital communications, event management, brand development.

· Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop), social media and website applications, analytics tools.

· High-level interpersonal and communication skills, as well as stakeholder management skills.

· Demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage workload and meet deadlines.

· Experience implementing USG-funded programs in Ukraine.

· Experience working with community-based organizations and/or key populations in Ukraine
