Position Summary:
The IT Support Specialist plays a vital role in providing comprehensive on-site and remote IT system support. The ideal candidate is skilled in troubleshooting technical issues, performing detailed data analysis to identify root causes, and promptly addressing end-user support requests. This role requires strong expertise in networking, SharePoint, Microsoft 365 Suite, and basic web development. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to efficiently resolve technical issues.
Based in CRDF Global’s Kyiv office, this role provides support to offices in the EE Hub (currently Ukraine and Poland) and Central Asia. The IT Support Specialist collaborates closely with IT team members from other hubs to efficiently resolve client issues and maintain our business systems.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person for hardware, software, and network related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office Suite.
Assist users with SharePoint site creation, management, and permissions.
Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN.
Assist in the setup and maintenance of network hardware and software.
Assist in developing and implementing SharePoint workflows and document management solutions.
Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions within the Microsoft 365 environment.
Provide basic web development support for internal and external websites.
Assist in maintaining and updating web content using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Create and maintain technical documentation for support procedures and knowledge base articles.
Conduct training sessions for end-users on various software applications and IT policies.
Qualifications / Skills and knowledge requirements:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
5+ years of desktop support or systems administration experience.
Proficiency in Windows environments, including desktop builds, fixes, repairs, and software installations.
Ability to independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues. Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Ability to multitask, answer a call, research solutions, exhaust all resources and coordinate support issues to ensure timely solutions.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively as a member of a team, within a global organization, with multiple levels of internal management and staff.
Fluency in Ukrainian. Written and spoken English proficiency on the level enough for successful performance of the job duties (Upper-intermediate+).
Valid work authorization in Ukraine.
Experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Web Development, Microsoft SQL, and Endpoint Management.
Preferred:
Strong expertise in Power Automate, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
Experience with Microsoft Graph API, Power BI, and other related technologies is a plus.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch.
Experience working in an international environment.
