«Save Ukraine» is the largest humanitarian organization dedicated to supporting families in Ukraine.

Founded in 2014, Save Ukraine’s mission is to protect children and families affected by the war.

Our activities are aimed at helping the most vulnerable Ukrainians: orphans, children with disabilities, internally displaced persons and victims of violence. We evacuate families from the frontline and from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. We are the only humanitarian organization that regularly organizes rescue missions to return forcibly deported children to Ukraine. «Save Ukraine» brings together dozens of organizations and hundreds of volunteers to help those affected by the war and rebuild their lives.

Today «SaveUkraine» is looking for an experienced, responsible and proactive Project Manager with strong knowledge of English

Typical responsibilities and capabilities:

  • Development detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Making sure the alignment of project goals with the overall mission and vision of the NGO.
  • Development and management project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Monitoring expenses and tracking financial performance against the budget.
  • Search for funding for projects through grant applications or other fundraising efforts.
  • Identify and engage relevant stakeholders, including community members, donors, government agencies, and partner organizations.
  • Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaboration.
  • Training and management project staff and volunteers.
  • Provision guidance and support to team members to ensure project success.
  • Preparation of regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders – donors and funding agencies
  • Representing the NGO in relevant forums and networks.
  • Advocate for the project and the organization’s mission.
  • Building and maintaining partnerships with other NGOs, government agencies, and community groups.
  • Identify opportunities for capacity building within the organization and among project participants.
  • Development and implementation training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Promotion sustainability by empowering local communities and organizations.

Education and experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a project manager or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in English with a minimum Upper Intermediate (B2) level.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Disciplined approach to project planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and address challenges.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, team members, and clients.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in project scope, timelines, and requirements.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  • Experience in managing project budgets, including cost estimation and financial tracking.
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze situations and make sound decisions.
