Procurement Agent at U.S. Embassy in Ukraine

Duties:

This position is located in Procurement Section of the General Services Office, and works under the supervision of Procurement Specialist. Job holder performs procurement of various commodities and services from U.S. and non-U.S. vendors using various procurements methods. On average, the job holder on an annual basis process over 1,500 acquisitions of Micro Purchases and Simplified Acquisitions above $10K for total amount of over $2,000,000 USD in servicing US agencies and customers.

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years of progressive experience in acquisitions with international organizations including customer service and administrative operations duties is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: The job holder should be able to prepare basic statistical reports and summaries, i.e. price evaluation summary for specific product (s) and/or product (s) quality/specifications comparison summary, etc. The job holder should be able to effectively use Microsoft computer programs, such as Excel, Word, Internet Explorer, etc. and ability to learn how to work with other software products. The job holder should have good numerical skills.

EDUCATION: Two years of college studies are required.

LANGUAGE:

Good working knowledge (writing/speaking/reading) English
