What will you do in this position?
The Research, Assessment and Monitoring (RAM) team in the Ukraine CO carries out food security and other types of needs assessments, undertakes targeting analysis and performs economic and market analysis. The RAM team is also responsible for all monitoring of WFP’s programme activities in Ukraine, including process and outcome monitoring. The team collaborates with various external partners on various research and knowledge generation pieces in the area of food security, agriculture and economic impacts of the war.
The role is expected to strengthen the RAM team by bringing strong skills on data analysis, data presentation and visualization. The Data Associate (RAM) will work with different topics and methodologies in the area of food security, needs assessment and programme monitoring. The ideal candidate should be a team player who is willing to learn new skills and methods.

Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in statistics, econometrics, database management, data visualisation, household economics, or another related functional area.
Experience: Minimum six (6) years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in the sphere of statistics, econometrics, database management, data visualisation, household economics, or another related field.
Post-secondary education can compensate for some years of experience. For example, you will be considered as eligible if you have:
At least one year of experience in a data analysis function will be an asset.
Specific experience in one or several of the below topics is required:
Knowledge&Skills:
Languages: Fluency (level C) in English and Ukrainian languages.
