We are seeking an experienced DevOps Team Lead/Manager to oversee and guide a team of talented DevOps engineers in managing multiple projects and supporting various products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in DevOps practices, combined with excellent leadership and project management skills, to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and automation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor 3 small teams of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Allocate resources effectively across several projects and products, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality support
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices within the DevOps team
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps in a highly-available production environment
  •  Manage and support deployments to Kubernetes clusters, including the creation and updating of Kubernetes manifest files, Docker files, and Docker builds
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to support highly-available production environments, participate in code review
  • Ensure effective monitoring and logging using systems such as ElasticSearch, Prometheus, Grafana
  • React on alerts, create incidents, create awareness, gather resources to work on resolution of critical events

Requirements

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
  • Experience in creating and troubleshooting CI/CD  a highly-available production environment
  • 2 years of experience supporting deployments to Kubernetes clusters in a highly-available production environment
  • 2 years of development and support of automation scripts in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • 1 year of troubleshooting experience using logging and monitoring systems (ElasticSearch, Graylog, Grafana, Azure Application Insights)
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux Administration
  • Experience with DNS records management and certificate management in a highly-available production environment
  • Experience using and troubleshooting Ansible/Terraform playbooks
