In collaboration with the Client, DataArt specialists were engaged building a new data management and analytics platform.
The system has been rolled out into production and continues to evolve, getting new functionality and improving its resilience and performance.
A group of highly qualified data specialists: engineers, data analysts, architects, and project managers.
We are looking for a senior-level data engineer with a hands-on experience in data warehousing and data integration services.

Responsibilities

  • Writing and maintaining SQL code, performance optimization
  • ADF pipelines development and refactoring
  • Building integrations with new data sources
  • Code review

Requirements

  • 5+ years of data engineering experience
  • Good understanding of architecture principles and best practices, knowledge of data warehouse fundamentals: dimensions, facts, Kimball’s VS Inmon’s approach, etc.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services
  • 5+ years of expertise in MS SQL: designing, writing, and maintaining complex SQL-based ETL, including analysis and performance optimization.
  • 2+ years of experience with ADF, building batch and micro-batch data pipelines, parameterized pipelines
  • Practical experience in writing Azure Functions and configuring Logic Apps
  • Experience in writing/maintaining Python code
  • Working with Git
  • Good spoken English

Nice to have

  • Experience with AAS/tabular models
  • Experience with Databricks/PySpark
  • You know what’s inside TOGAF and DAMA DMBOK
  • Knowledge of financial domain/asset management
  • Business analysis skills
