Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Carrier Reconciliation Specialist to join our growing team at United World Telecom. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to handle large amounts of data, and be proficient in communicating with telecom suppliers and partners to resolve discrepancies. Experience in the telecommunications industry, particularly with cloud numbering and international voice transit, is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform periodic reconciliations of vendor invoices using internal tools.
  • Handle large datasets, ensuring accuracy and timely identification of discrepancies.
  • Communicate effectively in English with international suppliers and partners to resolve possible invoice discrepancies and other financial issues.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies, working closely with accounts payable and other internal departments.
  • Monitor incoming rate changes from carriers, ensure correct implementation of the rates internally and proactively detect and report on significant rate increases from vendors.
  • Work with the IT Team and other departments to improve the reconciliation processes and to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct regular audits on inventory to identify numbers that are being sold at a loss, numbers that need to be canceled and other potential discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • 2+ years of related experience..
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry and knowledge of cloud numbering and/or international voice transit is an advantage.
  • Strong data management skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.

Compensation: Will be dependent on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Benefits: 30 business days paid time off + 5 sick days per year.
