ENGin is a global nonprofit organization that aims to connect Ukraine to the world in order to propel its postwar reconstruction and longer-term economic & social development. We’re doing this by pairing Ukrainians with English-speaking volunteers worldwide for English conversation practice and intercultural exchange.

We are achieving nationwide change through a fully individualized approach deployed at an unprecedented scale: 100,000+ 1-on-1 connections. We aim to create an entire generation of English-fluent, culturally competent Ukrainians ready to rebuild their nation.

Currently, we’re looking for an experienced Student and Volunteer Support Agent, who has a high level of English, attentiveness to details, and strong problem-solving skills. While some of the queries we handle are simple technical issues or basic questions about the program, many involve complex, open-ended issues between students and volunteers. Thus, you should be eager to solve complex interpersonal problems. Responsibilities include:

1️⃣Providing high-quality email and chat support to students and volunteers

2️⃣Updating participant information on our proprietary online platform

3️⃣Prioritizing support queries and escalating issues to appropriate internal teams

4️⃣ Providing customers with step-by-step guidance to resolve problems in written form

5️⃣ Assisting with testing and resolving technical issues

REQUIREMENTS:

✔️ English level of B2 or higher

✔️ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

✔️ 1+ years of experience in the Customer Support or Customer Success field

✔️ Strong problem-solving skills

✔️ Effective in high-pressure situations with good time management skills

✔️ Eager to be challenged and grow each day

✔️ High attention to detail

✔️ Age 18+

✔️ Commitment of at least 1 year

✔️ Workload 40 hours/week (full-time)
✔️ Very flexible (each week is different, and evenings/some weekends are required)

✔️ Share our mission

✔️ Team player: willing to collaborate with the team closely

THIS WILL BE A PLUS:

✔️Knowledge of Zendesk or similar ticketing systems

✔️Experience working/volunteering in an NGO

WHAT WE OFFER:

💎 Competitive salary based on the results of the interview and skill set assessment

🗓 Expected start date – January or February 2025; paid training required

📄 Official employment
🕐 Flexible working hours

💻 Remote work

🌟 The opportunity to join a young, energetic team building a one-of-a-kind, world-changing program!
