We’re looking for a Junior Researcher for Jasmine Wang – the founder of AI-generated copywriting. Copysmith.ai – the company that helps other businesses to write blog posts, product descriptions, ads, taglines, and SEO metadata with the help of Artificial Intelligence tools.
Jasmine Wang is a true inspiration and leader of our time and we gonna tell you why:
- Jasmine is a Senior at McGill University – this is the oldest and most famous University in Canada and one of the most prestigious universities in the world. She has a major in Computer Science and a minor in philosophy.
- She is interested in language, reinforcement learning, and applications of machine learning for creativity augmentation and climate change.
- Jasmine believes AI technology should be used for the preservation of the human race and the continued care of our descendants.
- She worked on OpenAI’s policy team. The company is an AI research and deployment company with the mission to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity.
- Jasmine also worked with Lyft’s self-driving team. Lyft is a company that helps transport people in major cities in the United States and Canada.
- She also worked with Square’s corporate loans data science team and Microsoft Research’s tech for the emerging markets team.
What will you do?
- Do a lot of research tasks, predominantly in the field of History of Science and History of Policy (For example, you’ll have to find 10 relevant papers on a particular topic and find relevant citations; explain, why they’re relevant and what is the main conclusion from them);
- Help Jasmine with her personal tasks: schedule her meetings; manage her calendar; book travel tickets or hotels; fill application forms;
- Write and edit blog posts for Jasmine;
- Help with the company’s internal documentation – track up-to-date information.
Requirements
- Fluent English: you should be able to search for information in English, as well as write texts for the blog on any given topic;
- You should be able to conduct academic research and know how to use databases provided to you;
- You should have excellent writing skills;
- You should be academically interested in the History of Science and/or History of Policy OR you’ve studied it already;
- You easily self-learn new things, hungry to get new knowledge, and are interested in the world of AI;
- You have an opportunity to adjust to the MST time zone (that is, sometimes to have working hours after 17:00 Moscow time).
Not necessary, but will be a plus:
- You’re familiar with typical startup tools – know how to use Slack, Airtable and/or Notion;
- It is great if you have knowledge in engineering and how to do coding.

- Part-time employment (5 hours per day, 5/2);
