The British Council in Ukraine is offering an excellent opportunity of temporary service for all individuals who are interested in working in Teaching Centre supporting its internal operations on a ‘call-in’ basis. Due to the flexible work schedule, this position is a great opportunity for students who want to work part-time during their studies.

Duties

  • to handle the information about British Council products and processes, first and foremost those related to Young Learners, in order to be able to provide assistance to customers;
  • to oversee the safety of Young Learners by supervising the corridors during classes and breaks, detecting and reporting any potential incidents;
  • to control the process of Young Learners being collected after their lessons by their Parents/Persons authorised to collect them;
  • to support and participate in health and safety measures in line with COVID-19 government restrictions;
  • to build rapport with customers in order to enhance their experience in the British Council by orienting them to the premises and coordinating them according to their schedule;
  • to assist in the placement testing.

The main requirements

  • English at a minimum of B2 level, Ukrainian and Russian;
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Punctuality
  • Accuracy/attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

Working hours and location

  • Creative International School for Children (Dnieper Embarkment St., 14L; Osokorky metro station)

Saturdays 09:00-16:30 (daily shift either 4,5 or 7,5 hours)

Additionally, on week days, you will be able to work some hours at our main Teaching Centre (Zhylianska str., 29).

The rate per 1 hour is 65 UAH (gross).
