Video Editor and Motion Graphics Artist (Dublin) at Hedgehogs vs Foxes

We are looking for a full-time Editor and Motion Graphic Artist to join our team. You should be a skilled professional with video editing and motion graphics experience, along with a good knowledge of the Adobe Suite, eg Premiere Pro and After Effects. You should be prepared to enter a fast paced work environment. The role will be based in our office in Park West, Dublin 12 so you should be willing to relocate to Ireland.
The interview will be conducted in English.

Job Description:

• Editing film footage to convey marketing messages which have been pre-agreed with client.
• Must be experienced with both Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop and associated workflows.
• Meeting agreed client deadlines.
• Managing client communication via email, phone etc.
• Audio recording, mixing and adding effects to edit.
• File all media filmed from each shoot in HvF template format.
• Manage cloud-based music library – make sure all purchased tracks are added.
• Check office calendar frequently; liaise with production coordinator to make sure everything is up to date.
• Be a team player.
• Creative collaboration is at the heart of this role.

Requirements & Skills:

• Must have advanced experience editing within Adobe Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, etc.
• Excellent organisational, verbal and written English communication skills.
• Must be able to perform all duties under high stress situations and conditions.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Be able to identify trends and styles to create visuals that will appeal to a large audience.
• Ability to communicate visual ideas.
• Be able to respond positively to constructive criticism from Producers/Agency.
• Videography skills are a bonus but not essential.

Remuneration: € 33k per year.

Essential Needs:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a Motion Graphics or Editor position.
