Position Summary
Momentum Wheels for Humanity seeks a Logistics and Procurement Coordinator to manage logistics for MWH’s portfolio of projects in Ukraine, inclusive emergency response programs designed to strengthen capacity for the provision of rehabilitation services relevant to the current conflict. The Logistics and Procurement Coordinator will coordinate, track, and report on logistics and procurement to meet organizational and project needs. Planned activities in the current emergency setting include procurement of emergency assistive technology (AT), establishment and management of an AT hub, and development of an inventory management system. Only candidates with work authorization in Ukraine will be considered; relocation benefits will not be provided.
Expected Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the MWH Ukraine Operations Manager, the Logistics and Procurement Coordinator will have the following responsibilities:
- Manage country office and project procurements and logistics, including office stock and inventory management and travel and transport coordination
- Manage procurement for the AT hub: procure initial AT inventory and support the development and maintenance of a robust inventory management software
- Support logistics for the provision of AT through mobile clinics
- Source and procure needed project supplies in line with donor rules and regulations and MWH policies and procedures
- Coordinate logistics for transporting beneficiaries to mobile clinics and the AT hub, as relevant
- Serve as a focal point for all logistics and procurement related matters for Ukraine
- Ensure all logistics and procurements are fully documented through a well-organized filing system and in compliance with MWH’s SOPs and Ukrainian government requirements
- Identify, assess, and manage positive and productive relationships with project vendors, consultants, and stakeholders
- Properly maintain and file all purchase requisitions, quotations, purchase orders, donation letters, and other relevant logistics documents associated with MWH activities
- Provide logistical support for in-country training, workshops, meetings, and other events as needed
- Manage travel arrangements for in-country travel, including airfare, ground transportation, and accommodations as needed
- Support travel arrangements for international travel to Ukraine, including ground transportation and accommodation as needed
- Manage project inventory tracker and support on preparation of project inventory reports as required
- Other project procurement and logistics-related tasks as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, including office administration, logistics management, or related field
- At least five years of relevant work experience, preferably within the Ukrainian health sector
- At least three years of working experience in logistics, supply chain management, and/or procurement management
- Professional experience working with an international humanitarian and/or development organization
- Familiarity with USAID and/or other donor regulations for procurement of goods and supplies
- Familiarity with Ukrainian regulations and requirements related to the donation of goods and supplies
- Detail-oriented with good organization and prioritization skills
- Demonstrate analytical and administrative skills, as well as resourcefulness and initiative
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook, and knowledge management platforms such as DropBox or Box
- Written and spoken fluency in Ukrainian
- Excellent written and spoken fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Procurement and logistics experience in the rehabilitation and assistive technology sector
- Experience managing procurement and logistics in emergency settings, including staff supervision
- Experience with warehouse management and international cross-border procurement in Ukraine
- Fluency in Russian, Polish, or other relevant languages
