StrategEast Center for a New Economy (the NGO has offices in Kyiv, Washington D.C., Tbilisi, Almaty, and Bishkek) is looking for a candidate to fill the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience in managing a team of at least tens of people
- Experience working not only in commercial institutions but also in state, quasi-state, or international organizations such as USAID is highly desirable; close cooperation with such organizations as a contractor or partner is also acceptable
- MBA or similar degree obtained in English is preferred
- Ability to establish processes and procedures using all the modern technological tools
- Demonstrable competency to take responsibility and delegate authority
- Readiness to work 24/7 because when our employees in Kazakhstan go to bed, our partners in Colombia wake up
- Excellent knowledge of English (level of writing and speaking comprehension is at least C1) and good knowledge of Russian (C1); other languages are welcome
- The candidate may permanently reside in Ukraine or any neighboring country (Poland, etc.)
