Position Title: Programme Support Assistant (CCCM)

Context:
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the Programme Manager (CCCM) and direct supervision of the Programme Support Officer (CCCM), the successful candidate will support the Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM) Unit and teams at IOM Ukraine and will be predominantly responsible and accountable of the following financial, logistical, and administrative tasks for the unit:
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Assist in the monitoring of financial aspects of projects in close coordination with finance unit e.g., recording actual expenditure of purchase requests, implementing partner payments;
- Support in tracking of capacity building and operational activities progress;
- Provide administrative and logistical support for all program activities e.g, organization of training logistics, deliveries of items within country;
- Assist in drafting and submission of documents for the unit e.g., purchase requisition forms, requests for payments;
- Monitor existing stock levels of the department’s prepositioned materials in IOM warehouses in close coordination with program and warehouse teams
- Draft routine correspondence, collate tables, compose reports, presentations, publications, and other documentation, as requested;
- Maintain records of project files and documents in an efficient filing system kept as per IOM procedures.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
- University degree in International Relations, Sociology, Political Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with three years of professional experience; or
- Completed High School degree from an accredited academic institution with five years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Proficiency in the usage of office software packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) is required;
- Knowledge of humanitarian activities and context as well as prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is substantial advantage;
- Awareness of IOM internal procedures, policies and regulations is advantageous.
Fluency in English and Ukrainian is required.
