The mission of the Senior Operations Manager role is to create flawless end-to-end processes within teams that organize the educational flow (Coordinators, Mentors, Coaches, LMS and content creation process). This position involves reviewing and enhancing the current situation, conducting business analysis, creating an action plan, implementing initiatives, and managing operations to improve the productivity and quality of our learning processes.

This position involves a hybrid work format and a two-week onboarding in the Kyiv office.

What will you need to succeed

• 4+ years of working experience in building processes, preferably in Big4/Finance/Operations;
• Experience in operating model transformation, operational excellence, value stream analysis, and process redesign;
• Experience conducting analysis: research, data analysis, reviewing documents, and converting that into digestible reports with further action items;
• Strong experience in process automation and visualization;
• Structured thinking and ability to make data-driven business decisions;
• Leadership and management experience;
• Excellent knowledge of Excel – is a must. Data Studio/Looker/Tableau/other BI software will be appreciated;
• Upper-intermediate English, both oral and written.

Your tasks will be

• Conduct an audit of the current processes;
• Create a well-structured plan for changes, taking into account the logical flow of the educational journey that students undergo as well as content creation process;
• Deliver the process to the team, provide recommendations for its implementation, and manage changes that arise;
• Implement processes while considering international locations such as Poland, LATAM, and upcoming locations;
• Establish effective communication with internal departments (Training, HR, Marketing, Development, Sales, Finance);
• Develop new models and tools to facilitate scalable analysis and evaluation.

You`ll closely work with different teams (Training, HR, Marketing, Development, Sales, Finance). Roman Apostol – CEO and co-founder at Mate academy will be your direct manager. We use a data-driven approach to make decisions and find significant data insights to improve different metrics.
