Position Purpose

CAHC seeks for Consultant for NCD (4.1.8.3 Launch community based “health ambassador” program to facilitate conversation around health issues and promote awareness campaign) to perform the following tasks:
1. To develop a one-day offline training for health ambassadors on the prevention of non-communicable diseases and promotion of healthy lifestyles in communities.
2. To conduct a one-day offline training for health ambassadors on the prevention of non-communicable diseases and promotion of healthy lifestyles in communities.
3. To develop methodology of training on the prevention of non-communicable diseases and promotion of healthy lifestyles in communities.
4. To develop informational notes for health ambassadors on providing consultations regarding NCDs prevention for local residents.
5. To conduct a one-day offline training for MHT members.
6. To develop informational notes for MHT members.

To perform services the Vendor shall:
1. Collaborate with Project team
2. Complete the tasks in line with following schedule and deliverables
● Developed a one-day offline training for health ambassadors on the prevention of non-communicable diseases and promotion of healthy lifestyles in communities by June 25, 2024.
● Conducted a one-day offline training for health ambassadors by June 28, 2024.
● Developed methodology of training on the prevention of non-communicable diseases and promotion of healthy lifestyles in communities by July 30, 2024.
● Developed informational notes for health ambassadors on providing consultations regarding NCDs prevention for local residents by July 30, 2024.
● Conducted a one-day offline training for MHT members by August 16, 2024.
● Developed informational notes for MHT members by August 31, 2024.

Period of performance: 20 June 2024 – 31 August 2024, 27 days in total.

Vendors must possess the following qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Social Science, Public Health etc. or at least 5-year relevant experience in health services provision / NGO field. Outstanding expertise in organization and training of medical and/or social workers.
2. Minimum of 3 (three) years’ experience in conducting trainings for medical/social workers.
3. Experience in development and/or implementation of the NCD screenings will be an advantage.
4. Strict adherence to deadlines.
5. Ability to work effectively, often under tight deadlines, and deliver a quality product in a professional manner.

Proposals (digital submissions only) must include, at a minimum, the following information:
1. CV with linked examples of quality of work (relevant past projects and materials pertinent to providing the services).
2. Proposed Fees/Expenses. Proposals shall clearly state all fees and expenses to be charged in the performance of all Services: If based on an hourly rate, provide the hourly rates to be charged for the Contractor. Provide an explanation if fees will be calculated on any other basis.
3. Reference List – A list of at least three (3) contacts for references, including client name, organization, email and telephone contact information for similar work performed by the applicant.
