Role: The organization is now seeking to recruit one suitable qualified Ukrainian National for the position of Logistics Officer
Department: Administration
Duty Station: Poltava
Aim of the position: The Logistics Assistant will assist the EiE TA and Administration in the general operational management of the dedicated projects by following administrative and logistic operations and procedures and respecting all AVSI policies.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
1) Logistics Duties
Organize logistics related documentation as needed, ensuring paperwork is arranged promptly and appropriately.
Ensure all logistics related assistances are completed in timely manner.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with AVSI Foundation policy and procedures (i.e. Operation Manual)
Prepare logistic related documentation and reports to submit to Logistics officer on monthly basis
Guarantee the proper storage of all relevant documents to trace order history.
2) Admin/Finance Duties
To verify that proper procedure for administration operations is in place and correctly implemented in accordance with the AVSI Rules (Operations manual and AMPE)
Scan, copy and back up monthly financial reports and documents
Proper filing of finance related documents
Performing other tasks from Operation Manager and Accountant
Essential Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree (business administration, accounting, economics, law or related studies) is an advantage
Work Experience: Minimum 1 year working experience in a similar position.
-Demonstrated experience in supporting administration and procurement processes (during daily routing activities as well as during annual audits)
-Sound understanding of finance procedures
-Good computer knowledge with proficiency with MS Office suite (especially Excel)
-Strong organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks
-Willingness to work under pressure and under strict deadlines
-Aptitude to field work with ability to travel with short notice
-Proactive and willing to take initiative.
-Flexibility
-Good communication domain, problem solving and diplomatic skills.
-Good interpersonal skills & team-working skills and provide support to multiple staffs.
-Respect when dealing with others.
-Identify him/herself with the mission, vision and values of AVSI Foundation
-Additional skill and\or experience:
Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication in English
