Our client is a USA-based company that helps pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations find patients for clinical trials of new drugs.
We implement a web-based solution, that allows to manage clinical trials, and to collect and process information about candidates to participate in clinical trial. Due to variety of clinical trials and, therefore, requirements which patients have to meet, the solution contains a lot of different configuration, which allow to adjust it for every trial, select patients and generate appropriate reports.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure
- Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Flux (GitOps tooling)
- Maintain SDLC with CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build
- Manage applications in GKE/Kubernetes using Helm
- Monitor and optimize system performance and ensure high availability and scalability of infrastructure
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
- Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance measures
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues
- Automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and GCP services to continuously improve our infrastructure
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Architecture
- Proficiency with Terraform
- Experience with GKE/Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Helm
- Knowledge of Flux (GitOps tooling)
- Good spoken English
Nice to have
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GCP Organization
- Familiarity with Google Workspace
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL
- Understanding of Redis
- Experience with cert-manager
- Familiarity with external-dns and external-secrets
