Social Media Producer at Hromadske International

What you will do:

• Repackage the Sunday Show content and Hromadske International’s video reports and interviews into a social media friendly format
• Create and execute scheduling strategies for the promotion of Hromadske International’s materials
• On a weekly basis, share learnings about the Hromadske International audience with the editorial team to help them create social media-optimized content
• Come up with creative ways to adapt Hromadske content and mission to emerging platforms

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of professional social media procuring and editing experience
• Experience with social media analytics
• Familiarity with social media in all forms and understanding of what works and what doesn’t
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Attention to detail
• Video editing experience
• Self-motivating

Hromadske is one of the first successful public online broadcasters in Ukraine. Launched on the eve of some of the most tumultuous days in the country’s history, Hromadske became the go-to media for young Ukrainians — the place to gain a new perspective on events in the country. Hromadske is unique for Ukraine because it was founded, and now controlled and run only by the journalists who work here. It is a publicly funded news project with no ties to Ukrainian state or business institutions. Hromadske International reports on politics and human rights issues in Ukraine and Eastern Europe.
