HR-specialist at Beetroot Academy

What we’re looking for:

— 3+ year experience in HR
— Strong social skills and a natural talent for connecting with people
— Ability to provide coaching and feedback
— Communicate and cooperate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
— Understanding of the process of good performance reviews and how to make them work for the whole team
— Building corporate culture
— Flexible in terms of uncomfortable working hours and ready to travel
— Excellent verbal and written skills
— Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
— Ability to work on tight deadlines
— Strong belief in the power of education and our mission
— Taking initiative, and driving processes forward
— Non-hierarchical world-view
— Native Ukrainian and Russian language skills
— Good English language proficiency

— Experience of working with international companies, an international mindset and attitude
— An understanding of the Ukrainian and global IT education market
— A large existing network of specialists
— Experience in organizing team-building events

This role of HR-specialist will change and develop over time, but at a minimum this person will have the following responsibilities.

— Provide and improve onboarding and adaptation program
— Holding the performance review process
— Staying current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
— Propose and improve retention strategy
— Completing timely reports on employment activity
— Prevent staff turnover
— Conducting exit interviews on terminating employees
