Job Summary
Our Program Management team is looking for a Project Coordinator. You will help Engineering teams deliver on complex projects and engage with various teams (including those supporting embedded, mobile, and cloud technology) to manage short and long-term needs for products. You will work closely with other TPMs to coordinate and facilitate the execution of complex business needs, while simultaneously keeping your teams focused on hitting their commitments.
You should be comfortable working across different time zones and through ambiguity. You thrive on projects that strive to build consensus and drive multiple teams towards results. You will anticipate bottlenecks, assess risk, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
The right candidate should possess proven project management skills in leading small to large scale projects. You are expected to be versatile and able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You can clearly and effectively communicate (written and verbal) across the org and with senior leadership.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage project schedules for multiple products to define strategy and requirements
- Drive key deliverables with cross-functional teams to make sure teams are communicating clearly and key dates are being met
- Communicate regularly to senior management on status, risks, and project progress
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope
- Work with product management to align on production schedules
- Route work between all relevant team members in all stages of development
- Convey project changes and updates to appropriate team members
- Prepare regular status reports and distribute internally and externally as necessary
- Hold regular status meetings within the TPM organization
- Ensure documents and digital assets are completed, updated, and stored appropriately
- Resolve and/or escalate issues promptly
- Manage both internal and external approvals
- Monitor scope creep and re-scope projects if necessary
- Stand with and defend your convictions as well as accept others’ point of views when needed
Qualifications and Skills

- Maintain a positive attitude throughout all stages of a project
- Ability to articulate expectations — define expectation to the team and expectations on your deliverables to your management
- Manage by example — PMs must be straightforward and knowledgeable in all dealings
- Be direct, do not overpromise and under deliver
- Technical Skills
- Advanced skills in using project support/monitoring tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Understanding of distributed systems and how they are deployed
- Experience in defining projects, collecting requirements, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new features sets
- Management Skills
- 2+ years of Project Management experience
- BS in Computer Science or related Engineering field
- Proven ability to deliver in a changing environment
- Experience building and maintaining the Scrum process
- Ability to grow, scale, and sustain high performing groups and leaders
- Excellent presentation skills
- Advanced level of written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Knowledge of IoT domain
- Practical experience (may be outdated) with embedded, mobile or cloud development
- Understanding of technologies and trends in embedded/mobile/cloud (depending on expertise area)
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with an ability to motivate teams and deliver results
