Job Summary
As a Technical Project Manager within the Research Department, you will be responsible for identifying, scoping, and delivering large end-to-end Cloud, Firmware, and Hardware programs. You will engage with experienced cross-disciplinary teams to design innovative consumer products. You should be comfortable working across different time zones and through ambiguity. You thrive through building consensus and driving multiple teams towards results. You will anticipate bottlenecks, assess risk, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. You should be able to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.
The right candidate should possess proven project management skills in leading small to large scale projects. You are expected to be versatile and able to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. You can clearly and effectively communicate (written and verbal) across the org and with senior leadership.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Work with key stakeholders in executive teams, product management, and marketing teams to define strategy and requirements
- Work with remote and multi-site engineering teams to deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines
- Communicate regularly to senior management on status, risks, and progress
- Stand with and defend your convictions as well as accept others’ point of views when needed
Qualifications and Skills
- 2+ years of technical project/program management experience
- Understanding of different SDLC
- Understanding of distributed systems and how they are deployed
- Experience in defining projects, collecting requirements, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new features sets
- Advanced level of English
