We are looking for a reliable and proactive Chief Accountant, who is ready to join us for a full-time position.
This position involves a hybrid work format and a two-week onboarding in the Kyiv office.
What will you need to succeed
- Accountant experience 5+ years;
- Good experience with Excel/Google Sheets;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Experience in end to end cycle of month close and management reporting;
- Knowledge of Accounting and Tax accounting reporting of Ukrainian tax legislation;
- Experience working with different EU jurisdictions;
- English Upper-Intermediate or higher.
Will Be a Plus
- Experience working with Dia City and/or accounting system ERP Dynamics NAV/365;
- Getting financial qualifications in the process (ACCA, CFA, CIMA).
Your Tasks Will Include
- Daily bookkeeping of transactions to the accounting system, for UA, Polish, Brazil, and Cyprus entities under IFRS;
- Performing day-to-day financial operations;
- Verification of salary/ rewards calculation;
- Tax reporting and compliance in Ukraine and assist with tax reporting in Cyprus, Poland, Brazil and European legislation (VAT, OSS and other relevant taxes);
- Month close of local and Group accounts and support management reporting;
- Control activities over primary documents quality and existence;
- Participation in annual audit;
- KYC/compliance, regular communication with banks and other partners, and keeping the company’s agreements updated;
- Lead improvement for accounting system (ERP Dynamics NAV/365);
- Supporting private entrepreneurs, gigs in various capacities (operational, registrations, banking), and advising top management on accounting and operational matters;
- Manage junior accountant.
