Our client is successfully driving his product at constantly top 3 biggest consumer loan platforms.

What you will do
- Designing sustainable product development in collaboration with a cross-functional and agile team.
- Development of processes in PHP (Symfony framework) in close cooperation with internal specialist departments.
- Participation in the sustainable development of our products in cooperation with the cross-functional Scrum team.
- Development of complex business systems in PHP8 using the Symfony framework
- Development of a distributed domain service application based on Confluent Kafka event-based communication.
- Responsibility for automated testing with PHPUnit or Cypress.
- Active collaboration on the development of a service-oriented architecture.
What you need for this
As a PHP developer, you are a valued member of one of our agile development teams.
Although each team works autonomously, we attach great importance to the professional exchange between the teams, which is actively encouraged. Pair programming and mob programming are common practices for us to ensure the smooth transfer of knowledge. We develop our logic in independent domain services and implement them quickly and easily in Kubernetes clusters using our specially developed CI/CD structures. *
- Kafka from PHP where knowledge and consulting on the subject of architectural matters (rules, topics, messages, events, how to deal with asynchronicity, etc).
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
- Practical experience in backend development.
- Excellent knowledge of PHP, Symfony/Laravel and MySQL databases is expected.
- Commercial experience with Kafka is a MUST HAVE (3+ years).
- Experience with containerization and ideally deploying applications in Kubernetes clusters as well as monitoring the service landscape with tools such as NewRelic are desirable.
- Very good knowledge of PHP, Symfony/Laravel and Doctrine.
- Experience with test environments such as PHPUnit or Cypress is also desired.
- Experience working with versioning systems (preferably Git).
- Motivation, ability to work in a team, willingness to learn and demonstrable project experience are essential.
- Experience with agile development methods (Scrum) is an advantage.
- B2 level of English or higher.
Will be a plus:
- Spoken and written German.
- Knowledge of infrastructure on AWS.
