Strong Middle BI Engineer at Intellias

• Gathering and analysis of requirements for data processing and reporting, tight collaboration with stakeholders during report developing.
• Building and supporting custom Power BI reports and dashboards for our Data Analytical platform that includes building analytical pipelines and dashboards from idea to product with Data Engineers and designing data warehouse scheme and ETL processes.
• Exploration and validation of data from various sources, suggesting recommendation for improving data quality in the corporate systems.
• Conducting solution demos, collaborating with business and explaining results.
• Continuously monitoring the efficiency of existing BI solutions and relevance to ongoing business needs, providing recommendations for improvements.
• Assistance in building predictive models of the company and the market.
• Participation in prioritizing further development of the Data Analytical platform.
• Running ad-hoc research and analysis.
• Be proactive and propose new ideas regarding analytical services.
• Empower others in the organization to be more self-reliant in their data needs.

As a member of Corporate Analytics Team, you will work with:

• Heads of Functions
• Heads of Departments
• Process owners and key business representatives

• 5+ years of experience in data, reporting, and analytical problem solving
• Strong SQL skills and experience in working with a data warehouse
• Understanding ways of data extraction and exchange (JSON, XML, CSV, API)
• Hands-on, practical experience in relational databases, data modeling, and data visualization
• Advanced experience in building reports in Power BI tool (DAX, Power Query, Role-based modelling)
• Expertise in MS Excel: creating formulas, pivot tables, charts, reports, and dashboards
• Ability to clearly and concisely define problems
• Developing BI solutions in line with the levels of requirements
• Understanding statistical analysis methods
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, proven ability to communicate decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audience
• Critical thinking
• Ability to work with ambiguity and fast-changing environment in the fast-growing company

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack, SSAS, SSIS
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Visual Studio
• Understanding of the key SDLC principles
• Experience with Jira or an equivalent bug tracking tools
• Degree in business, statistics, or mathematics
• Knowledge of Data Science, Big Data, Python
