Location: Remote (Ukraine)
United World Telecom (est. 1996) offers cloud communication solutions to help businesses around the world communicate with their customers. We have a global and diverse team and over 8,000 customers worldwide.
We’re growing our marketing team and are looking for a PPC Manager with strong technical analytics skills to manage, run, and monitor ad campaigns. An ideal candidate must have proven experience in tracking and managing paid advertisement budgets, ensuring the best returns on the campaigns. They must reside in Ukraine and work alongside the digital marketing team to create strategic PPC campaigns that drive performance and deliver results.
PPC Responsibilities
Manage and Optimize Campaigns
- Manage, monitor, optimize, plan, and create PPC campaigns across channels such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media.
- Research and analyze data to identify the most effective keywords (add relevant keywords and negative keywords) and strategies for our PPC campaigns.
- Conduct competitors analysis to identify new opportunities and improve our PPC campaigns.
- Optimize bidding at keyword, placement, device, geographic, demographic, and other levels.
- With the help of our in-house content team, write engaging and concise copy to modify ads to boost click-through rates and landing pages to boost conversion rates.
Conversion Tracking Implementation and Troubleshooting
- Audit, implement, and maintain accurate conversion tracking across all paid campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Set up custom conversion events and parameters to align with account goals and ensure accurate reporting.
Google Tag Manager Expertise
- Build and manage GTM containers to deploy tags, triggers, and variables for tracking user interactions (e.g., form submissions, button clicks, scroll depth).
- Debug and troubleshoot tag firing issues using tools like Google Tag Assistant and GTM preview/debug mode.
- Optimize GTM setup for scalability and ensure proper data layer implementation.
GA4 Setup and Optimization
- Configure GA4 properties, events, and goals in line with campaign KPIs.
- Troubleshoot discrepancies between GA4, Google Ads, and other platforms to ensure consistent data reporting.
- Implement enhanced measurement events and custom dimensions/metrics as needed.
Data Accuracy and Reporting
- Conduct regular audits of conversion tracking, tags, and analytics accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Resolve tracking issues (e.g., broken tags, missing events, attribution gaps) swiftly and effectively.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate data layer implementation and troubleshoot complex tracking issues.
- Provide actionable recommendations to improve the quality of conversion data and its alignment with business goals.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Perform daily account monitoring and management of PPC campaigns: Review expensive under-performing keywords, ensure PPC campaign does not exceed weekly and monthly ad spend budget, and maintain Quality Score, impression share, and other important metrics.
- Document and update processes and changes in the internal document server.
- Send daily & weekly reports to the marketing team.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a PPC Specialist or similar role, with a solid understanding of PPC advertising principles and best practices across various platforms.
- 5-10 years PPC experience in SaaS and telecom industries with B2B emphasis is preferred but not required.
- Proven experience with Google Ads and Bing Ads; Facebook ads and LinkedIn ads experience would be an added bonus.
- Advanced Proficiency in Google Tag Manager: Experience setting up and managing complex GTM implementations, including custom HTML/JavaScript tags and data layer dependencies.
- Expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4): Proven track record of configuring GA4 properties, events, and reports for detailed campaign tracking and attribution analysis.
- Strong Knowledge of Conversion Tracking: Hands-on experience implementing and troubleshooting tracking setups for platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Debugging and Problem-Solving: Familiarity with debugging tools such as Google Tag Assistant, GTM Debug Mode, Chrome DevTools, and server-side tracking setups.
- Ability to integrate tracking systems with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, or custom APIs is preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and website architecture to collaborate effectively with developers and resolve tracking issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other team members.
- Google Ads and Bing Ads certifications within the last 6 to 12 months are a plus.
- Must be located in Ukraine.
