Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) - Service Engineering (SE) is a strategic team that supports Oracle’s SaaS Applications and GBU’s (Global Business Units). As cloud service operations evolve from a predominately reactive model (i.e., responding to emergencies with high levels of human involvement) to a proactive model (i.e. preventing emergencies and outages with intelligent tools, services, and automation), the mission of SE is to ensure that services can efficiently operate massively scalable and highly reliable SaaS services, across multiple operating models as they iterate to become Cloud Native.
