Our client, a leading autonomous vehicle company, is at the forefront of the mobility revolution. They are redefining transportation with cutting-edge self-driving technology designed to make travel safer, more reliable, and sustainable. Their team is developing fully autonomous vehicles that harness the power of artificial intelligence, advanced sensors, and machine learning to navigate the complexities of urban environments seamlessly.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll join a world-class team of innovators and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry. Here, you’ll tackle exciting challenges that are transforming transportation and help build high-impact software solutions to advance their mission of creating fully autonomous vehicles.
What you will do
- Answer most support questions.
- Expand wiki documentation to reduce the amount of support required in thelong-term.
- Work with all teams to provide wiki links for attributed errors.
- Reduce / automate manual processes.○ Perform weekly deploys of services.
○ Improve deploy scripts and deployment tests.
○ Automate deployment process.
○ Automate repetitive manual remediations. - Monitor and respond to incidents:
- Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
- Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime, adjust thresholds if needed.
- Compile comprehensive Ops review documentation detailing all operational issuesencountered throughout the week.
- Run the weekly ops review meeting to discuss issues and trends.
What you need for this
- Proven experience in Python.
- Proficient in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools or other cloud platform.
- Experience with Docker containerization.
- Proficient in Distributed systems.
- Experience with managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Familiarity with Postgres database management.
- Expertise in monitoring and alerting practices(Kibana, etc.).
- Experience with PagerDuty incident management or similar systems.
- At least upper-intermediate level of English is a must.
- Working hours starting from 2 PM CET timezone.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Ray for distributed computing and scaling Python applications.
- Experience in Chronosphere or similar systems.
- Ability to navigate and analyze platform/service logs using Humio or similar systems.
