Vacancy: M&E Officer at AVSI Foundation Ukraine

Duty station: Poltava, Ukraine

Contract Type: Employment contract according to the law of Ukraine with All Social Benefits

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the M&E framework and plan for the project.
• Design and review monitoring and evaluation tools, including indicators, data collection methods, and data management processes.
• Ensure that M&E activities align with the project’s goals, donor requirements, and organizational standards.
• Coordinate and oversee the collection of data from project sites.
• Conduct regular data quality assessments to ensure accuracy and reliability of the data.
• Analyze data to assess the progress towards project objectives and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare comprehensive and timely reports on M&E activities, including progress reports, impact evaluations, and lessons learned.
• Present findings to project teams, management, donors, and other stakeholders.
• Support the development of donor reports, ensuring that they meet the required standards and deadlines.

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Statistics, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an advantage.

Language Skills:

Proficiency in English and Ukrainian, both written and spoken.

Work Experience:

At least 1 year of work experience in the humanitarian sector and similar position.

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• Field experience is an added advantage.
• Experience in ActivityInfo system.
