Middle UI/UX designer at Norml Studio

I’m currently looking for a UI/UX designer, someone who will share our commitment to producing high quality work. We’ve worked with AstraZeneca, Nasdaq, major American manufacturing companies, and our clients have been featured in Forbes.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and improve existing website [now it’s primarily thing because we need you for a long-term project]
• Analyze client business requirements
• Engage with project stakeholders
• Implement feedback from my side
• Simplify complex information
• Design cool and unique concepts [this is for future projects, but you can also take part in creating our brand now]
• Supervise junior designer [sometimes]
• Collaborate with me, PM, and developers

What we’re looking for in your skills

• Solid experience in designing websites and web apps, whether solo or in a team
• Pro skills in Figma; you know your way around layouts and components
• Good English for client chats
• Respect for deadlines, with the ability to be flexible and find solutions without compromising quality
• No “Lorem Ipsum” fans here; you understand content matters [ChatGPT got your back, but you always double-check everything]
• Strong communicator; you handle feedback well and know how to present ideas clearly

A few things to keep in mind for your first project

• You’re good at managing your own time and priorities without needing someone over your shoulder
• Some tasks might get repetitive, like tweaking the same design block, so you should be cool with that.
• Comfortable working across time zones [with a shift to evening time]
• Not afraid to ask questions when details are missing to keep things on track
• Even though this project is ongoing, you’re familiar with working towards specific goals and deadlines when needed

Bonus points if you have any of the following

• Proficiency in UI animation, with the ability to visualize concepts in After Effects or similar software
• Knowledge of Framer, Webflow, or other no-code platforms
• Graphic/Branding design expertise
• Advanced UX research skills, including conducting interviews and measuring the success of design decisions
• Experience mentoring junior designers
