Terre des hommes is looking for a proactive, energetic, and organised Base Coordinator, to join its team in Kharkiv city, to support in the implementation of its projects. If you are looking for a meaningful job that will make a lasting impact on the lives of children, we want to meet you.
Start date: As soon as possible
Contract: 12 months (with possibility of extension)
Probation period: 3 months

Terre des hommes (Tdh) is the leading Swiss organisation for children’s aid. Since 1960, Tdh has helped build a better future for children and youth, especially those most exposed to risks, making an impact with innovative and sustainable solutions. Working in more than 30 countries, Tdh focuses on maternal and child health, migration and access to justice for children.
In Ukraine, since 2015, Tdh has been providing a variety of services to children, youth and their families in the conflict-affected area, with a special focus on psychosocial support.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
This role has an area focus and ensures compliance to Tdh procedures and guidelines within the area. The role contributes to guide working processes within office according to the principles, policies and standards of Tdh, which are translated into action plans and day-to-day tasks. The role provides support and/or technical guidance to base operations.
Under the supervision Deputy Head of Delegation (Deputy Country Director) the Base Coordinator will coordinate, facilitate, and administer the smooth running of office(s) assigned to them. S/he will coordinate tasks which crosscut and falls within other departments like HR, Finance, Logistic and Programs, through respective focal points and in line with Tdh`s Ukraine policies and procedures.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
YOUR PROFILE
To be successful in this role we expect you to have previous base coordination experience in complex and volatile environment with a minimum of 3 years’ experience overseeing humanitarian and early recovery multi-sector, multi-donor programmes.
