Network operations specialist at Uber Shuttle

Operations Specialist will focus on supporting the expansion and scaling of the Uber Shuttle network across Ukraine. Along with your team, you will own the development of route generation and maintenance as well as its execution. This is a critical role within the organization as the routes determine Uber’s ability to unlock demand and drive repeat usage.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Use various sources of data to discover new route opportunities and expand our route network
• Monitor key metrics and develop a deep understanding of our network’s performance
• Offer solutions to contribute towards achieving route KPIs
• Work closely with data science team to improve network planning
• Maintain route network health and hygiene 
• Perform ad-hoc analysis

REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Economics / Logistics / Operations Research or any other analytical field of studies)
• 1-2 years of experience in Logistics / Project management or other relevant field
• Advanced spoken and written English, mandatory Ukrainian proficiency
• Attention to details and ability to handle routine tasks
• Data-driven decision making
• Startup “I work hard because I love it” mentality
• Passion for improving the transportation landscape in Kyiv and beyond

PREFERED

• High proficiency in Excel analytics
• SQL knowledge is a plus, willingness to learn is a must
• Experience working in a startup is a plus
• Demonstrated willingness to learn new things beyond the scope of work
• Driver licence and strong knowledge of traffic laws
