Our client is a leading European B2B platform for on-the-road payments and solutions.

That’s why we’re hiring top-tier engineers who will contribute towards an efficient and sustainable future of mobility. Developing a routing service using road data and EV station maps to optimize journeys across Europe — that’s what you’re going to deal with in our ambitious and passionate tech team.
What you will do
- Working in an innovative and fast growing environment as strong business communicator.
- Developing and maintaining a scalable, cloud-native data landscape by laying a new foundation for gaining insights and business value from data at DKV.
- Working together with the team and business partners to develop data products using an agile approach.
- Creating products that allow us to address mission critical business challenges (development of data pipelines, topics in the area of product, reporting & analytics).
- Breaking new ground: You regularly optimize solutions to improve performance, quality and costs.
What you need for this
- 3+ years of experience (BI Engineer / Data Engineer) with a focus on developing cloud-based architectures and products (preferably using the Microsoft Azure/Azure Data Factory).
- You are experienced in working with DWH Snowflake(nice to have), DBT(nice to have).
- Proven knowledge of Python and SQL in multiple positions/projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- You are a proactive person.
- Have experience working with Kafka(must) and Databricks.
- It is very important to also work in a scaling environment, i.e. at a comparable or larger company.
- IaaC: You use Terraform to describe and maintain the infrastructure required for your solutions.
- IT-Security is fundamental in your design decisions.
- You have very good analytical and project management skills.
- You can easily “translate” your results into self-explaining presentations for your business partners.
- A degree in the fields of (business) mathematics, computer science, economics or similar.
