Gathers is an edtech startup with a focus on corporate AI/ML upskilling in Ukraine and European countries. It provides business teams and specialists with hands-on AI/ML knowledge and helps companies integrate AI into their processes, increasing business efficiency and competitiveness.
Gathers raises AI/ML qualification through live online courses with top ML experts and Papers Club — online sessions that help validate hypotheses and generate new AI solutions. The speakers include: leading AI/ML specialists from tech companies such as Meta, Giphy, Reface, Preste, Infopulse, etc. Gathers is the part of Roosh ecosystem.
We are looking for a proactive Community Engagement Specialist who seamlessly integrates with our esteemed Community Architect, Alla Zhdan. Your role will encompass forging strong ties with our ML Engineers, AI Researchers, Data Scientists, and other experts, ensuring smooth collaboration and fostering networking opportunities.
You will:
— provide event tech support: partner with the Community Architect on event details; manage recording, breakout rooms, participant tracking, quizzes, polls, and screen-sharing; occasionally transcribe and promptly upload to YouTube
— manage content: update the website, Eventbrite, Meetup, and Discord for new events; integrate content and quizzes into platforms like Discord
— work with email outreach: dispatch event invites and reminders to participants; follow up post-event with necessary materials; tailor emails for each platform to maximize reach
— engage with the community across the platforms: interact with users on LinkedIn, Discord, and Meetup; address questions, gather feedback, and nurture community ties.
It’s all about you:
— English – Upper Intermediate +
— technical skills in managing virtual events and related platforms (Zoom – strong, Discord – beginner, Meetup – beginner, Eventbrite – beginner)
— excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse audiences
— proactive mindset and ability to anticipate community needs
— attentiveness to the details is critical
— experience in content management and community engagement.
